There are moments in the life of a (small!) artisan brand that make you pause. Not a noisy euphoria, but rather a quiet satisfaction, the feeling that something is falling into place. But still, a lot of recognition.
Being featured in the October-November 2024 issue of Maison & Jardin is one of those moments.
In the Selection of the Moment section, Les Petites Bleues find themselves alongside creations carefully chosen by the editorial team: furniture with character, design collections, objects that have something to say about how we inhabit a space. A context that resonates with what I've been trying to do from the beginning: offer works that don't just decorate a wall, but that create an atmosphere, a light, and a presence.
The text accompanying the photo summarizes the essence quite well: "an ode to nature through cyanotype, an alternative and monochrome photographic process revealed by the sun." That's exactly it. Plants, sun, paper, water, and that intense Prussian blue that is unlike anything else.
Thank you Maison & Jardin for this feature!
